I Can See Clearly Now

the rain is gone.....It rained most of last week. Our 5k was in the rain. But it was nice and cool. So I was grateful for that. But this week it was super nice. Rachael and I helped at a friends wedding. Rachael won a fish, which lasted for a little over 12 hours.
Our scouts fundraiser was pumpkins. They grew a bunch and then had donuts and hot chocolate and invited the ward to come buy. There were hay rides as well.
He got his Bear. After all his hard work, he finally did it. Nathan is now trying to talk me into not making him go to scouts for the rest of the year.
We had a couple of BBQ's this week as well. One was at our friends in Eagle Mountain. The other one was at Phil's. Sandy's kids were here to visit, and we were invited over to eat with them. Super fun times. It's so nice to have good friends and family to socialize with.

Hey Now You're an AllStar

Get your game on, go play....
A bunch of AllStars this week, that's what we were. Rachael worked really hard and finished this project for her art class.
Nathan made bird feeders as one of his last achievements he had to pass off in order to get his Bear.
Jacob finally got long pants. He's been growing by leaps and bounds, and is also notorious for putting holes in them. So here he is with a new pair--hooray!
Dave and I ran our 5K at BYU's homecoming. It was a lot harder this year as both of us have been injured. He had rib issues, and I had shin splints issues. I still got a good time (for me), but I did much better last year.

So tell me what you want

What you really, really want....Don't you love a little spice girls. Here were some of the things we really wanted.
Cookies. It took me awhile, but I finally got around to making cookies for lunches.
A good shave. We went on a field trip with Adam's class to Heritage Park. Adam also got aftershave, he smelled real gooooood.
A chi. I've been wanting one of these forever. The price was finally right, and now Rachael and I have strait hair
I really, really, really wanted BYU to beat Utah State. In the last 13 seconds, they pulled it off. I didn't see the tip and touchdown (I was told to sit down in my seat and quite watching by my husband), but I heard the roar of the crowd. It was awesome. All the kids were able to attend that game as well. A good time to be a cougar.
Peaches from our tree. YUM!

She's got a Ticket to Ride...

So sorry, I'm pretty sure it will work now.
We went to Williamsburg for a week, and it was wonderful.  Adam was asked to make a video for his class, so instead of posting pictures I've posted the link to the video (its five minutes).  But hopefully you'll be able to see all of it.  We also went to Busch Gardens and had a great time on all the amazing roller coasters.  I love the thrill!  It was definitely a grand adventure!
