So I realized I had not posted anything for July. Well believe it or not, there is still a ton we did in June that I haven't even shown you. So here is some of the things, and when we get back from our major trip out east, I will post so much more!!!
First our ward had a Humanitarian Project. Everyone made stuff to sell and then the proceeds went to purchasing supplies for Newborn kits, etc... I thought it would be fun for my kids to make finger puppets. They definitely weren't the big sellers, but it's the thought that counts right?
We let the kids choose what animals they wanted to make. Here we have monkeys, panda bears, and frogs.
We also made chickens and pigs. Afterwards they put on a puppet show. It was very entertaining.
Also this June I finished a puzzle. It had been sitting in our room for ever and I just hadn't had time. One week I finally said, "Okay we've got to get this thing out of our room." So I sat down and made myself do it. It made me sick of M & M's that's for sure!!
Return of the mummy. We've also been up to Bear Lake--a lot. Phil and Sandy came up with us one weekend in June, and Phil decided to get a little bit burnt. They headed to the Instacare up here, and he came home mummified. Yes he was wearing sunscreen, but every seasoned Lake visitor knows--reapply, reapply, reapply!!
Also for those of you worrying why I'm posting and not packing--well I'm done packing, I just have to clean the bathrooms so this is one of my professional stall tactics.
