The number of the day is 34!

Dave turns 34 today, and I know he has no idea how old he really is.  But we're so excited that he is having another birthday.  I just wanted to pay tribute to this wonderful father, husband, and man.  He has certainly fulfilled all his callings, and we're so proud that he belongs to us. How grateful I am that we get to celebrate another wonderful year with him!

His favorite thing to do, playing and being with his kids.

Best Present EVER!!

This year Uncle Ken had Nathan, or maybe it was Aunt Julie?! Either way they both chose this wonderful gift for Nathan. As soon as he opened it he was able to play with it for about 10 min. It was then confiscated by Ken and Dave, who tried to get the coolest dart launching picture. I kid you not, I have about 30 pictures of flying darts on my camera. In fact I thought my picture program was broken because each picture looked exactly the same! A few days later, and unbeknownst to me, Dave bought a second set of dart shooting set. (Similarly conversation ensued see post about dvds) We now have four lovely guns for dart shooting, not to mention some spankin' garb to go with it. I apologize for not having pictures of the coolest dart shooting glasses in the world. I will have to get those up along with the stormtrooper helmet (aka bobblehead) picture.

Ready for combat. Thank you Melanie for the Headlight.

The side view.

The ultimate dart picture. I can't even begin to count how many times Ken threw a dart over and over just to get the right picture, lighting, angle, and whatever else!
The dart is at the top of the picture.

Just to prove you can do it more than once!

Feliz Navidad

Growing up our favorite song in the whole wide world to sing at Christmas was "Mele Kalikimaka". So here is a run-down of our Mele Kalikimaka. We had our annual pajama opening party the night before Christmas. Celebrated with the Brueck side on the 25th, and then with the Funk side on the 30th. I love seeing my family at the holiday season. I do have to say my favorite day is the 26th. All the presents have been opened and we shut up our house and enjoy our family time together. We build legos, play games, and eat!! Three of my favorite things to do with my family. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and make this year a great one!

M & M's or Skittles?

I am definitely a Skittles fan. In fact, if given a choice, I usually forego the chocolate and take the other. Butterscotch chips over chocolate chips, Cinnabon over a box of Chocolates, Vanilla Pudding over Chocolate Pudding. So it will come as a surprise to you to know we went all the way to Vegas to visit the M&M store. All four stories of glory. Okay well we might have also gone down there to touch a sting ray. Oh and let's not forget about that little bowl game we were able to get sweet seats too. Get it, 'sweet' seats?! Here are some of our favorite moments with some of our greater than great friends!

Just for kicks.
