Two Cakes

In the process of simplifying our lives, I've been combining birthdays. Rachael and Adam took their turn this month, and I can't believe I now have a child in double digits. We make sure their actual birthday is special, but then have a big family get together with everyone. It was lots of fun!

Can you guess who's is who's?

On Rachael's actual birthday the boys willingly played Barbies with her. Aren't they such nice brothers.

Adam picked out this gift at the store. I wrapped it and he still forgot what it was. I don't have a picture of him wearing it yet, but it is a tad to big for his tiny body! Makes him look a little top heavy!

Adam had a hard time blowing out his candle. It took him a good seven or eight tries to finally blow it out. We all cheered.

"Norovirus (also known as Norwalk and Norwalk-like virus) is a viral infection and is a common cause of diarrhea and vomiting sickenss in the United States. It is highly contagious. Most people will begin to have symptoms within 1 to 2 days, but some people may become ill as early as 10 hours. NO specific treament is available!"

This is what we have been experiencing the past week. Every single person in our household had it in some form or another. It got so bad that today and tomorrow my beautiful children will be spending two full days of fun (cleaning) at home with me. Why? So the school can be sanitized. Yep, they closed the school. I believe at one point almost 40% of the school was infected. 13 kids were absent in one classroom alone.

I'm so excited to see what adventures await us next!!

At home with my monkey, ninja, George Washington, and my Asian Princess!! Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

My Hotty

I know I talk loads about my kids, but I just wanted to let you know I also have the best husband ever. He definitely is my better half, and I wouldn't enjoy life half as much if I didn't have these special moments to remember him by. One night he came up to me and said, "Look what I can do!" He then proceeded to show me that he could kick as high as my face. I looked at him with the oh you are so immature look and said, "Why on earth would you be proud of that?!" His reply, "If there is ever a robber in our house who is your height I will be able to kick him in the face." And of course he said it in the, well duh, tone.

What can be done with pretzels!
